Game MIDI (DOS) – S

I’ve collected these MIDI soundtracks over years all over the internet or ripped them from the games myself. I renamed all files to better organise each soundtrack and tried to match all track names to the official original soundtrack, if any exists of course. All of these should be complete. Some archives contain more versions, General MIDI, FM, MT-32 or XG and if it were possible, I also included the original ripped files. I add couple of new soundtracks every day. I’ll keep adding new ones, until I’m out of soundtracks. If you find some issues, please let me know. If you are after the specific soundtrack, let me know as well, I’ll do my best to get it for you. Have fun.

When I try to play any track from Star Wars: Dark Forces, nothing happens. I’ve tried other games and I can play those fine, but something about the Dark Forces files doesn’t work.

Same here, both Logic and MIDIYodi refuse to open the file – Logic just does nothing while MIDIYodi says “Could not get sequence from file”. Interestingly Reaper can open it, but “03 – Shoot Them Down.mid” gives me 40 tracks of MIDI with what appears to be 3 different songs merged together. I saw a similar issue with the Descent files with more than 16 tracks in a file – in particular track40.mid has 31 tracks in it.

That’s weird. I’ve just tried all tracks and all of them work just fine. What player you use?
